Living with ADHD since I was 5 now 25

Hi

For now there is no city and state so one can't direct you to a resource in your city and state.

You can check my blog but let's get the information.

I didn't have the ADHD but dd have anxiety I worked 70hours a week and then that at a government job especially at  Christmas one day off and I look back and wonder how I did it.

Try not to be hard on yourself and isn't there a psychogist on campus a service where you go to school to get help with ADHD?

There was one at my college and I use to eat lunch with him once in while and I didn't invite him he just came over.

hugs

Living with ADHD since I was 5 now 25

Everyday I struggle with work, school, my anxiety, and relationship.

I have been denied help, i just need meds but have no insurance and not much money. I work 5o+ hours a week to have a 800 check every 2 weeks to cover all my bills and to try to go to school. Did i mention i have been in school 5 yrs, and still have no asst. degree? I have this problem becuase I try hard but I am not fast enough for reg. classes but do not qualify for the alt. classes. I don't get much aid either because of my grades. I go through relatioships quicly because of my mood swings and not understanding of adult stuff. I would like to not want to die, but many days I wake up crying becuase I am killing myslef at a job with no breaks because it's all i can find, I want to better myself but can't find help. Sometimes I really don't want to be in a world were since i am 25 i am on my own. if anyone knows any place were i could find help to live a better life and go to school full time with out having to work 50 hrs week( which for a person with adhd is sher hell) I would appriciate it. Thank you

Lots of people deal with ADHD and anxiety. That don't feel they need to be on SSI. I'm not quite sure why you feel that your child should be on SSI?

Feel free to participate in this public group space.

Two easy ways to do this:

  1. Add a comment or a question here - on this page... or on any other page in this space.
  2. Or, if you want to start a separate thread - make a new page.

Either way is good - the important thing is your participation. On Aidpage, people support each other by speaking out and by paying attention to each other - as simple as that.
